Welcome to The Scent Room Hand Poured Candles. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or purchasing our products, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

 

2. Products

All of our candles are handcrafted and hand-poured in small batches. Because each product is handmade, slight variations in color, texture, fragrance, and appearance are normal and make every candle unique. These natural variations are not considered defects.

3. Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time.

4. Orders

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Product availability

  • Errors in pricing or product information

  • Suspected fraudulent activity

  • Inability to verify payment information

If your order is canceled after payment has been processed, you will receive a full refund.

5. Payment

Payment is required in full at the time an order is placed. Orders will not begin processing until payment has been successfully received.

6. Shipping

Orders are processed and shipped within 5–10 business days. Shipping times may vary depending on the destination and carrier. Shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of your order and are determined by the shipping carrier.

7. Returns & Refunds

All sales are final.

Due to the handmade nature of our products, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds unless an item arrives damaged or we made an error with your order.

If your order arrives damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of:

  • The damaged item(s)

  • The shipping box

  • The packaging materials

Once approved, we will gladly replace the damaged product at no additional cost.

8. Candle Safety

Candles should always be used responsibly. By purchasing our products, you agree to follow standard candle safety practices, including:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Keep candles away from children and pets.

  • Burn candles on a heat-resistant surface.

  • Keep candles away from flammable materials.

  • Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before each use.

  • Do not burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

  • Stop using the candle when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains.

The Scent Room Hand Poured Candles is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss resulting from improper use or failure to follow basic candle safety guidelines.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Scent Room Hand Poured Candles shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our products.

Our total liability shall never exceed the purchase price of the product involved.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, including photographs, logos, product names, descriptions, graphics, and designs, is the property of The Scent Room Hand Poured Candles and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

11. Privacy

Customer information is used solely for processing orders, providing customer service, and improving your shopping experience. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to process payments, fulfill orders, or comply with legal requirements.

12. Promotions & Discount Codes

Promotional offers and discount codes:

  • Cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.

  • Have no cash value.

  • May expire without notice.

  • May exclude certain products or collections.

13. Force Majeure

The Scent Room Hand Poured Candles shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, carrier delays, labor shortages, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
