Refund Policy

At The Scent Room Hand Poured Candles, every candle is handcrafted, hand-poured, and carefully packaged with quality and care. Because each product is made in small batches specifically for our customers, we maintain the following refund policy.

All Sales Are Final

Due to the handmade nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Ordering the wrong product

  • Preference for a different fragrance

  • Minor variations in color, appearance, or finish, as these are a natural result of handcrafted products

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Your satisfaction is important to us. If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, we will gladly make it right.

To request a replacement, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the damaged product(s)

  • Photos of the shipping box

  • Photos of the packaging materials

Once your claim has been reviewed and approved, we will send a replacement at no additional cost.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds will only be considered in the following circumstances:

  • Your order cannot be fulfilled due to product unavailability.

  • An order is canceled by The Scent Room Hand Poured Candles before shipment.

  • A replacement item cannot be provided for an approved damaged or incorrect order.

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original method of payment. Depending on your financial institution, it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refunds or exchanges:

  • Used or burned candles

  • Products damaged due to improper use or failure to follow candle care instructions

  • Orders with incorrect shipping information provided by the customer

  • Packages delayed by the shipping carrier after shipment

  • Products exposed to extreme temperatures after delivery

Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders may be modified or canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After production has begun or the order has shipped, cancellations are no longer possible.

Lost Packages

Once your order has been shipped, responsibility for delivery rests with the shipping carrier.

If your package is lost or delayed:

  • Please check your tracking information.

  • Contact the shipping carrier to open a claim if necessary.

  • We will gladly assist you in providing any information needed to help resolve the issue.
